First and foremost, you need a firm budget in mind before you go window shopping. It’s easy to fall in love with a machine you end up struggling to afford, so look at what you can afford to pay in one lump sum and how much you can pay monthly.
New models can run you anywhere between $10,000 and $20,000 depending on how advanced or luxury the models you’re looking at might be. Unless you have exceptional savings, you’ll likely want to consider financing with a loan. You’ll only have to pay 10-20% of the full price as a down payment, then you’ll pay off the rest in monthly installments plus interest.
If things are still tight, consider buying a preowned model! Even something that’s only been owned a year will be considerably more affordable than it was new.
Number of Passengers
UTVs come in a few different sizes, and one of the things impacted by that is the number of passengers you can safely bring on the ride. Whether you’re going out alone, bringing a friend or significant other, or want to bring along the whole family, there are sizing options available.

Hunters might want a camouflage paint job and sound-absorbing materials. Landscapers will need plenty of storage space, and off-roading enthusiasts will want to focus more on performance.
